Before Your Appointment

Prior to your appointment please take the following precautions to ensure proper healing and a great experience! It is very important to refrain from any blood thinners, caffeine,&  alcohol before your appointment. Alcohol, Ibuprofen & NSAIDS should be avoided 24 hours prior. If you are on blood thinners please contact your physician prior to booking.

Microblading is a two-part procedure. The first appointment lays "the ground work" and the second appointment (initial touch-up at 6-10 weeks) is the perfection visit. We must space out appointments to ensure proper healing. This causes less trauma to the skin and creates better end results.

Lip blushing can take multiple sessions to obtain the color and boldness you want to achieve and varies per client. If you have any type of blister/cold sore you will need to reschedule!

Please be aware that for some the color intensity of brows will be significantly darker and sharper immediately after the procedure. This will reduce by 30%-50% as brows heal and fade. A topical anesthetic is placed over the treatment area for 20 minutes, then carefully removed prior to the start of treatment. Right after the procedure, the brow area can be tender and feel similar to that of a sunburn. Some are red around the brow and some are not. The area may also look a little puffy or slightly swollen on some, but not on everyone. Again, depends on the sensitivity of one’s skin.

Discontinue use of any anti-aging products that contain retinol at least 2 weeks prior to your appointment. Chemical, laser peels or Retin-A should not be utilized 6 weeks prior to appointment. Discontinue use of vitamin A or fish-oil supplements about 2 weeks prior to your appointment.

DO NOT WAX/TWEEZE your eyebrows the week of your appointment. Please wear your normal make-up to the shop on the day of your appointment. This allows me to see your normal make-up and will help us see the "big picture" when mapping and discussing shape & color. Avoid exercise right before your appointment. Exercising increases blood flow which will cause excessive bleeding leading to poor healing.
